Apparently Savory has learnt by his mistakes and is now considered the ‘father’ of holistic ecosystem management!

And now Richard Branson, in his blog post, suggests that we trust Savory to solve our environmental problems because he has a theory about climate change. In fact Savory has been short-listed as a finalist on the Virgin Earth Challenge.
My immediate reaction is that this is a big and very nasty joke. Surely Branson is not that insensitive? But maybe I am too African, too sensitive about the wholesale slaughter that is going on of our elephants, rhino and lions (in fact of just about every species). Why would I trust this guy? And why do I suddenly feel so incredibly negative about brand Virgin?
